How to measure yourself for a lehenga
3 min read
What you need
Use a soft measuring tape and wear the kind of innerwear you plan to wear on the day. Stand straight, keep the tape snug but not tight, and ask someone to help if you can.
The four measurements
Bust: around the fullest part. Waist: where you will tie the lehenga, usually just above the navel. Hip: around the widest part. Length: from that waist point to the floor while wearing your heels.
Choosing between two sizes
A blouse is easier to take in than to let out, so pick the larger size if you are between two. Most lehenga skirts have a drawstring, which gives a few centimetres of room at the waist.
